Brady Moyers
Cirrus Standardized Instructor Pilot (CSIP)
I was raised on a residential airpark, Biggin Hill Airpark, located northwest of Lubbock, where aviation was a constant part of everyday life. From an early age, flying alongside my father, whether practicing aerobatics or flying the traffic pattern, became a formative experience and a lifelong passion. I always expected to earn my Private Pilot License, but at age 23 I made the decision to fully commit to aviation and pursue it as a career.
My wife and I relocated to Phoenix, Arizona, where I attended CAE Oxford Aviation Academy at Falcon Field Airport (KFFZ). There, I completed all of my flight ratings through CFI and CFII in just 17 months while training in one of the nation’s busiest airspaces. Following completion of my training, we returned to Lubbock to begin my professional flying career.
I am grateful for the opportunity to instruct and mentor exceptional pilots while gaining experience in a variety of aircraft. Outside of aviation, my wife and I enjoy flying our Piper Cub, spending time outdoors with our dog, Piper, and remaining active in our local church. We are deeply thankful for the support and encouragement of the Lubbock community, which has played an important role in making this journey possible.
Grant Horn
Training Center Instructor (TCI)
Growing up in the Lubbock area, I developed an early interest in anything mechanical. That curiosity turned into a passion for aviation in high school, and I dove in headfirst. I earned my Private Pilot certificate at a local flight school, then moved to Arlington to complete my training at ATP Flight School. After obtaining my Certified Flight Instructor single and multi-engine ratings, I returned to Lubbock, where I have been instructing for the past two years.
I love sharing my passion for flying and helping students develop a strong respect for safety. Above all, there is nothing more rewarding than hearing from former students who have gone on to make their aviation dreams a reality.
