Requirements
To earn a Private Pilot License the FFA requires students to be at least 17 years old, and be able to read, speak and write English. You must obtain a minimum of a FAA 3rd Class Medical, and you must also pass the required knowledge test with a minimum score of 70%. Logbook endorsements are also required for ground and flight training from a certified instructor.
